A blog for the grandparents. Easter and Spring Break. We had a wonderful Easter and spring break. We traveled up to North Carolina to visit with my family. Our goal is to have her riding confidently in time for our beach trip this fall so she can graduate from the trailer to a training wheels bike! Last weekend Shelby and Scott went to see Peter Pan presented by the Lyric Theatre. She loved it! A blog for the grandparents. Girl's Weekend in Brevard. It was peak leaf season so the entire weekend was just gorgeous - views everywhere! Brevard is known for its many waterfalls and scenic hikes so we spent the entire day Saturday hiking and taking in some incredible views in Pisgah National Forest and along the Blue Ridge Parkway. A blog for the grandparents. The Rook and Pawn. Im super proud of my good friends for opening up the Rook and Pawn board game cafe in downtown Athens! They had their friends and family pre grand opening party this weekend and we had so much fun checking it out and playing games. Its a cool concept and I think its a great addition to the awesome downtown Athens scene! Random pics from summer fun days with friends! Ice cream, puzzles, pools and playing outside . Its our favorite time of year!

A blog for the grandparents. Shelby started soccer this spring and has really enjoyed it. And we have really enjoyed watching her.it's SO CUTE. She plays on a team of five year olds and almost her entire team is made up of her classmates so she thinks it's so much fun to see them outside of school multiple times a week.
