Thursday, January 31, 2008. 32 weeks/8 months ALREADY! Here is my 32 week picture.time is going by fast, but feels SO SLOW! That's okay, though since she gets oxygen from the placenta. This breathing exercises muscles and encourages her lung cells to produce more surfactant (a protein essential for healthy lung development). If your baby is a boy, his testicles will be descending from his abdomen into his scrotum. Sometimes one or both testicles won't move into position until after birth.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. And the doctor says. Doc says that my cervix is thinning out nicely, but that her head is still high. Next week.I will be going for another ultrasound with the specialist as a followup from the Fifths Disease saga. We will measure the baby then and let's hope she is normal sized! Tuesday, August 04, 2009. I finally developed the pictures on the water camera from our San Antonio trip. The pics never seem to come out too well on disposable cameras, but we did manage to capture a few moments. Here's Chad and the kids carrying their tubes down to the Guadalupe River- the water was so cold- I mean FREEZING! It took awhile for all of us to get used to it. The route we took was supposed to take 2-3 hours, but since the water was so low- it took us almost 5 hours! Julie and Tory's Blog.

Thursday, January 17, 2008. A doctor's appointment and MORE! We are starting to go every two weeks now. I am 31 weeks along. Heartbeat is good, everything seems fine. I'm a little bigger than I (or the doctor)wants to be. But I will work on that! Maddy and Claire both got their report cards this month! Maddy did very well with plenty of S's to show for (no grades until next year) and Claire got straight A's and made the distinguished honor roll! We are very proud of them and they are doing so well!

Monday, January 21, 2008. A glimpse into my future! I babysat my neice, Carmela, today. It made me realize what life will be like after baby is born. We went to the Children's Museum. It was really fun, but I think I could have chased the kids better if I wasn't almost 8 months pregnant! We had a great time, and I am actually looking forward to doing it again!
