I have to face my nighttime anxiety; my being overwhelmed being the sole caretaker of children; of being the only body receiving their never-ending touches; the only hands making dinner and sign papers; the only driver to take them to tennis lessons and back and forth to school; the only voice that reassures or disciplines.

Thursday, April 19, 2012. Mommy's Favorite Place in Tacoma. besides Starbucks :). Every time we are in Washington one of my MUST GO TO places is the waterfront in Tacoma. I have a lifetime of memories from this place but now as an adult I go to enjoy the smells, sounds, beauty and serenity of the waterfront. With all that mushy stuff out of the way - after we had dinner and rode the trolley all over we headed down to the waterfront. Needless to say she went straight to the water and walked right in!

Thursday, July 14, 2011. Happy Father's Day 2011. We had a good day - breakfast in bed for daddy and then a good naptime for everyone and a fun dinner at Grandma and Papa' house! Jake got some fun money from Grandma and Papa and then we pulled off a BIG surprise for him! I had a friend who won this signed Kyle Busch helmet and she sold it to us for very cheap! Kyle is Jake's favorite NASCAR driver - it was so awesome! Jacob thougth the helmet was pretty cool too! Jacob was VERY excited for Father's Day!

Three even more beautiful children! Look what else can happen in 15 month :) Beautiful little Stella joined our crazy family! April and I decided to take the kids and go to a beach on the South side of the island - Po'ipu Beach. They had gone on Sunday without us and liked it so we packed up and headed out. Thursday, April 19, 2012. Well the rain my have kept us from going to the zoo while we were in Washington but we were not just going to stay home! We decided spend an evening in downtown Tacoma. We ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory - it was most of our first time there - great fun! The kids were having a blast in the big window - they were pretending to be statues :) Wish I would have had a video camera! We got to the restaurant early so we could request seats inside the old train car! That was so great!
