Most of you know, we moved from Los Angeles to the Bay Area recently. We are all sad to leave our friends and family in LA. Many of you remember the story of Veeral, having just moved to Michigan from California and experiencing winter for the first time, being interviewed by the local news some 25 years ago. December 7, 2012. Since we could barely get Syra to sit still for her one year photo shoot, we didn’t attempt to get additional shots like we’ve done in the past. But, we have an update! February 25, 2013. To mark this very special occasion, we had a few celebrations. First, Kaya, Roby, and Mala came over. We had birthday cake, went to see “Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day” and then made pizzas. Then, Kavi had a couple fun celebrations at school — first on his birthday at the Valentine’s Day party. Syra is Six Months Old! May 29, 2012. Syra has hit the big 0.5! At 13 pounds 4.7 ounces, her doctor said she is petite, yet beefy :) Syra mastered cereal, is loving sweet potatoes and just got a taste of bananas yesterday. She started school this month! We visited Duck United Methodist Church for an Easter service and then enjoyed an Easter buffet at Palmico Jack's. The Easter bunny delivered to the hotel, and we settled in for a lazy afternoon of napping, watching movies, and walking along the beach. A perfect day, in my opinion! Baby Bear helped with the Easter egg hunt.
