We have a pool that mom and dad bought for us last year, but because of the slope on the back yard for drainage purposes, we haven't been able to utilize it much. Last week I had lunch with a friend that got my thoughts swirling on some things I just can’t seem to shake. Mary works for DHS, and she shared with me a story of a 17 year old girl who is living in a shelter right now. She can’t live with her mom right now, not sure what’s up with the dad, but ultimately until someone provides a temporary home for her, she’s stuck living in a shelter. Living in a shelter.
