The everyday adventures of Lillian Helen. I hope everyone had as good of a turkey day as we did. We are at Nana and Papa Fred’s in Rochester and having a GREAT time! Thanksgiving was a blast and our turkey came out perfect (thanks Papa Fred):. We enjoyed an array of indulgent and comforting sides and dessert was scrumptious:. So, I have been waiting for a chance to put Lily in this dress. We got it as a hand-me-down and it is still a bit big, but so stinking cute:. Where did she go? I can’t see her!

Sunday, January 26, 2014. We ski (in connecticut). And by "we" I mean everyone in the family except me. I am not really a skier and I don't feel bad about it; but, I lounge in a ski hut like a champ. Last weekend, we wandered over to New Hartford, Connecticut to Ski Sundown. Papa and the boys hadn't yet skied the snows of our own state, so we thought it might be worth the try. It was good fun. We saw a pretty hilarious Christmas pageant at church (it was no Best Christmas Pageant Ever, but still.). Wednesday, August 29, 2012. After our trip to California we were busy doing all sorts of things. We picked plums from our plum tree and canned it (because that's the kind of people we are.the throw it in a jar and see how it tastes, kind). There were lots of trips to the playground. My mom bought the boys a playground set thing. Papa thought it could be built in a day; much like Rome, that was not the case. We are still working on it. It might get built by the middle of fall? And the biggest news of all?
