A Little Leupen!: My Jawona
http://alittleleupen.blogspot.com/2012/09/my-jawona.html
Sunday, September 30, 2012. I'm embarrassed to admit this, though there are a few that may be proud (Auntie Dannie, I'm looking at you. But there is a strong possibility that Hank's favorite song is 'My Sharona'. Yes, the 'My Sharona' by The Knack. The one from Reality Bites. The one that is wildly inappropriate for a toddler to be singing. That's the one. That's the first song on the CD, and it booms out with these thumping drum beats in the opening notes. Hank loves. At the top of his lungs and periodi...

A Little Leupen!: Busying myself in the kitchen...
http://alittleleupen.blogspot.com/2012/06/busying-myself-in-kitchen.html
Friday, June 1, 2012. Busying myself in the kitchen. Hank has been all about anything having to do with the kitchen lately. Whenever he's at Lala's house (that's my Mom), he loves to stand at the sink and play in the water. This is very convenient since my Mom spends about 90% of her waking hours in the kitchen making some sort of delicious eatable. Sometimes he just likes to get in the sink to play. Impromptu bath time! Including all of the food and utensils! Pretty sure these go here. Hank told me that...

A Little Leupen!: March 2013
http://alittleleupen.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 2, 2013. We went through the same thing this time last year, didn't we? Around November I disappear, and after the new year I resolve to update regularly (but I never keep that resolution), the few of you that check the blog regularly nudge me to update (but I lose track of time), and then I reappear months later with a huge recap of what we've been doing. Same old stuff; different year. Enough excuses. Let's get on to what you came here for- Hank updates! Hank: What's that, Mama? And the...

A Little Leupen!: November 2011
http://alittleleupen.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 2, 2011. October finally brought a little chill to the air here. Fall has arrived! A couple weeks ago (sorry, I have GOT to get better about updating this regularly) we took Hank to a local pumpkin patch/fun farm with his buddy Sam. Those two boys had a blast at the farm. Hank and Daddy navigate the maze. The hay jump. He LOVED this spot. For a while every time he tried to walk, I'd just push him over and he'd fall into the hay in a giggle fit, then stand up to do it again. Unfortunat...

A Little Leupen!: June 2012
http://alittleleupen.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 1, 2012. Did you know that my little boy turned two last week? TWO I can't believe it. I know parents say all the time that they can't believe how fast the years go by, but it's so very, very true. The days are long, but the years are short. Being a mother is by far the hardest thing I've ever done. It's relentless. And I wouldn't trade it for anything. What surprised me the most about this whole experience was the completely visceral reaction I had. I couldn't stop crying! And not quiet cry...

A Little Leupen!: February 2012
http://alittleleupen.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 10, 2012. Or, pictures and catch-up. Long overdue, I know, but Brad was finally able to recover the files from the old hard drive, so I have PICTURES! I'll catch you up to date quickly with a little photo spam of major happenings since. oh. November. I'll post another update with general cuteness and Hankisms later. Let's get this show on the road! The Godparents and advocates circling the font. Newly ordained Father Michael led the baptism! It's good for the environment! Enjoy the spamm...

A Little Leupen!: October 2011
http://alittleleupen.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 10, 2011. Sittin' on the dock of the bay. Last week we left our home in. Carolina and headed for the 'Frisco Bay. What an adventure! For those wondering how we fared on our "vacation," here are the dirty details:. My disclaimer: Excuse the photo quality. These are all iPhone photos, since we didn't take the big camera with us. We leave home bright and early, ready to embark on an adventure! I tediously packed everything we would need in two (read 'em: two! Was behind us in the security li...

A Little Leupen!: Sand and Saltwater
http://alittleleupen.blogspot.com/2012/09/sand-and-saltwater.html
Saturday, September 29, 2012. Our last family beach trip was kind of a disaster. Or, at least it felt that way when you compared it to this year's beach trip. I suppose that's the difference between taking a 4-month-old to the beach for a week and taking a 2-year-and-4-month-old to the beach for a week. This year's beach trip was full of sand, water, laughter, running, scooping, shoveling and smiles. Pretty much what a beach trip should. Be To say Hank loved it would be the understatement of the century.
