Tianjin had a big snow the past few days (which thankfully I missed because I was down in southern China), but Daddy took the children out to build a snowman (which thankfully I got to see in person the day I got back in town). I love the rocks for feet. While we were in Taiwan/Hong Kong, it was lovely to be able to have the kids play outside without winter coats/gloves/scarves/hats. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Brandt kids in Tianjin. Cyber brag book for Mommy. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. The kids were very blessed with a spontaneous trip by A-ma and A-gong, who came and spent Tuesday with us. Lizzy stayed home from school. We went to the Sheraton for a breakfast buffet, then went downtown to walk around. After our afternoon rest times, we played for a little while at home and then went out for dinner again. What's an outing with A-gong without ice cream? Lizzy sitting with her class to enjoy the performances.

Because we were all staying in one room, the kids got to stay up late and go to bed at the same time as Mom and Dad (very special for them! One night, we stayed up watching Wall-E - so cute! HOWEVER, we did not think it through all the way.what happens when you put a child with a regular diaper into a swimming pool. Within one minute, Hayden was hauling around the most bloated pull up I have ever ever seen! I mean, those things can hold A LOT of water! Wednesday, March 26, 2008. He loved it, of course.
