Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Don't text and drive. Yesterday my parents survived a horrible car accident. Not only did they survive but they walked away virtually unharmed. They have some bruises and they will be sore, but this is their car! The driver was texting and looking down so my parents were hit from behind and shoved into oncoming traffic. Monday, August 10, 2015. My kids are not back in school until September 8 (what's up with all these schools in the South starting this week? Anyway, since camp is over I'll be trying to work at home and entertain them at the same time. Today I took a vacation day and we went downtown to do some good old fashioned Chicago sight-seeing!
