http://growingowens.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 30, 2013. Sunday, March 17, 2013. Jeanie had a wonderful birthday celebration for her first birthday. The festivities started off with a trip to Zombie Burger (at Papa's request.) I don't know who enjoyed it more - Evelyn and Jeanie? Evelyn and Papa being silly while deciding which burger to choose. Papa ended up with Sara's Revenge, Evelyn chose a cheeseburger with ketchup and pickles. Bama and Jeanie discussing their options. Here's Evelyn doing her best zombie impression. The whole fam...

The Growing Owens: May 2013
http://growingowens.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 16, 2013. The Evolution of Bedtime. Monday night, I witnessed perhaps the sweetest sister moment so far in these girls' lives. Evelyn had asked to watch Dora before bed, and this is what ensued, all before 7:15. My mom is 4. My mom has brown. My mom's favorite color is purple. My mom's favorite food is mac and cheese. My mom's favorite thing to do is tickle me. My mom's job is to cook dinner. My mom always says "Take a bath.". My mom laughs when at the park. My mom and I like to play.

Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Oh life, how fun it is. Many of my friends and family have been wondering what all my posts on facebook have been about, with the overnight jobs, etc. i figured i should just blab a bit here. my world: "[they go] up to eleven"
http://skclock.blogspot.com/2011/05/they-go-up-to-eleven.html
Friday, May 06, 2011. They go] up to eleven". Happy eleventh, bay-bee! Eleven years ago today, I was given the most beautiful rings as a token of my dear Kevin's love and commitment. The rings that, after the first year of wearing them, I developed an allergy, making wearing them sporadic. The rings that, after losing 45 lbs, are now too big and slip and slide around on my finger, when I can wear them. The rings that I love so very much from the man I love even more. Happy Anniversary, My Love.

my world: the year of personal change
http://skclock.blogspot.com/2011/01/year-of-personal-change.html
Sunday, January 16, 2011. The year of personal change. I had an epiphany of sorts the beginning of this year. i walked into our bedroom and saw the pile of my clothes next to the bed and i thought to myself, "really? This is how i want to live? I shared this with kev and i have to say, we've both been doing our part (with one or two slip ups here and there). it's felt good. i feel like i'm being present in my life again. This is the year i stop living lazy. Who writes the words- -. Out on a limb. I knit&...

The Growing Owens: May 2012
http://growingowens.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 29, 2012. I can hardly believe another month has passed. Miss Jeanie was 3 months old yesterday and continues to keep us busy, busy, busy. Well, not Jeanie so much as Evelyn, who we are constantly trying to keep away from Jeanie. :). It seems like she's doing just a little bit more every day and it is so much fun to watch her grow! Monday, May 21, 2012. On March 12, we joined a couple dozen friends/family in support of our friends the Fabers. Their girls were born at approximately 23 wee...

The Growing Owens: June 2012
http://growingowens.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 18, 2012. In her attempts to keep up with her older cousins and friends, Evelyn has learned how to ride a bike! It all started this Saturday at her cousins' house, riding little circles around the driveway. Then, Sunday, while at our friends' house, Evelyn spotted Miss Natalie's bike. She was immediately drawn to it. With barely even a little push from Daddy, she was off. Looks like a big girl bike is in our (very) near future. I can't believe my baby's riding a bike!
