Blarney Stones {St. Patrick's Day Cake}. Monday, April 11, 2011. Blarney Stone Cake Recipe for St. Patrick's Day: Frosted Cake Squares Rolled in Salted Peanuts. I promised this recipe almost a month ago. Just goes to show, I always keep my promises! Ha- I think what it really shows is how much I've been slacking on the blog front.). Mama's Boys: First Day of Preschool
http://ourlincolnlog.blogspot.com/2012/11/first-day-of-preschool.html
First Day of Preschool. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Let's pretend it's September! Lincoln LOVES his preschool. L-O-V-E-S it (and so do I! A few weeks ago they were grinding whole grains into flour and mixing up "pies" (water and flour) with their freshly ground flour with the hose outside. There is also a fair amount of ghost and zombie chase, but I suppose that comes with the territory in a class of 6 boys and 1 girl. November 27, 2012 at 8:44 PM. Yay for no academics! They need to play at this age!

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. We went all out for St. Patrick's Day this year. Usually, wearing green. Is about as celebratory as we get- but this year we baked not one, but TWO St. Patrick's Day treats! Adapted from the book Ireland Memories. 2 cups whole wheat flour. 1/4 cup wheat bran. 2 tsp brown sugar. Monkeys on ...
