So, I'll just get to it with little explanations where needed. Maggie doing funny faces. Thanks, Dora the Explorer! Spring walk with the babies. Maggie would push the stroller ahead of her then run after it. We did this the whole way to St. John's. Then, she made faces at every car that passed by. I had to stop her when the funeral procession went by. Day at the zoo.

Monday, May 26, 2008. Well, we're here in Monroe, NC. We are all unpacked and ready to start this adventure. We got here Friday around 11am, after a 22 hour trip. We made really good time. We thought that we would have multiple long stops for Maggie to get out and stretch, but we turned her car seat backwards, and she slept through the night for the most part. Sorry that I don't have any new pictures to post, but I will work on that within the next week. Here's our address for the next couple months:.

Saturday, January 19, 2008. A Very Busy Christmas. John is insanely busy now: teaching during the day, coaching at night and on the weekends, recruiting and preparing for the summer team in his free time, and now reading and taking his master's classes somewhere in there, too. Needless to say, he doesn't get to see Maggie as much, so he takes the time to treasure the little moments he has with her. She reads so well. Now, we have to work on holding the book right side up. Maggie's first Christmas cookie.

Thursday, December 20, 2007. Summers in South Carolina. Maggie loves to feed herself. Her favorite, at the moment, is egg yolks. Going along with her stubborn streak, when Maggie sees something she wants she goes for it. EVERYTHING goes straight into her mouth. Do you know how hard it is to wrap Christmas presents with an inquisitive 7 month old? Our little cocoon baby. Gotta bundle up against that Nebraska wind. Maggie is so smart.
