Audrey’s First Recital. Mama’s Birthday and a Visit with the Schillers. On: June 1, 2014. On May 28, I turned 29 once again. We had a pretty busy week–Audrey had dance rehearsals and Mike had some evening work events–so we didn’t get to celebrate until Saturday the 31st. What Happened to May? The Tooth Fairy Cometh. On: April 27, 2014. After only about a week (granted, it was a week of intense wiggling), Audrey’s first baby tooth is out! Bottom right front tooth.). She’s pretty excited! The tooth fairy came last night and left her some quarters and a pack of gummies. (If it was up to her, she’d live on gummies and yogurt.). On: April 22, 2014. One of the unintended consequences of our pirate cruise was the spontaneous mechanical failure of my very expensive DSLR camera. Consequently, our Easter festivities were captured by my smart phone, and about half of them didn’t turn out. Ah, well. Such is life…. On Saturday, we took the kids to Downs Park to enjoy the beautiful weather. After an hour on the playground, we took them down to the beach to play in the sand. It was a huge hit! She didn’t seem to mind…. On: April 22, 2014.

Mama’s Birthday and a Visit with the Schillers. What Happened to May? On: June 1, 2014. We have a graduate on our hands! On Friday, Audrey completed pre-K and is officially a rising Kindergartener! I had to work, but Mike was able to be there for the big ceremony, which was held at a local beach. The kids had a great time playing before the main event! On: August 3, 2014. Today we took a spur of the moment trip to a splash playground about an hour from home. It was a smashing success! Everett was beside himself. He just ran in circles for the better part of an hour! He was especially enthralled with a contraption that filled cone-shaped buckets with water and dumped them on the playground.
