Saturday, October 16, 2010. Alec here, I took over Mommy's computer so that I could post our really fun trip to the zoo last weekend. It was super warm and sunny, what fun! Mommy and me with a zebra! Daddy and me with the lion. Grandma, Evan and I were pretending to communicate like monkeys by hitting the tree. Daddy, Uncle Kevin, Burke, Evan and me in the polar bear exhibit. Sssssnakessss with Evan and Burke. Hello Mr. Turtle! Hay maze with Burke, me and Evan. Grandpa and I were looking at butterflies.

Sunday, May 1, 2011. I was shopping at Nino Salvaggio's which is the most amazing store ever! Of course they had strawberries and rhubarb in bushels right next too each other and I thought that a pie would be perfect. Never having had it I ended up pulling my own recipe together from several. I haven't made very many pies but this is SOOOO easy and good. I mean it, it is easy, try it! Forgive me I did use a Pillsbury pie crust. 2 cups Rhubarb 1/2" slices. 3 cups Strawberries 1/2" slices.

Sunday, November 28, 2010. Day 28. I'm thankful for the moments that bring a tear to our eyes. Day 27. I'm thankful for earplugs and grandparents (Papas) for buying obnoxiously loud gifts. Be forewarned Papas, Jonny might be packing this with us for Christmas. Day 26. I'm thankful for the beautiful moment I had with Alec putting together the manger scene. Day 25. I'm thankful that my son finally showed some kindness towards Lyla! Day 24. I'm thankful for superheroes, especially Alec dressed up as one.
