Saturday, May 4, 2013. Cinco de Mayo Fun Run. The boys participated in the Cinco de Mayo one mile race today at Mount Si High School and we could not have asked for better weather. Unlike the last race for St. Patrick's Day, this race was timed and trophies were given out for the top three finishers in each division so the boys had some extra motivation to run fast. Post race, we kept up with our tradition of post game doughnuts and chocolate (Wyatt) and strawberry (Sam) milk. Thursday, April 4, 2013.

Sunday, August 21, 2011. Wyatt was enrolled in preschool camp last week. It was his first time away from us (without being left with a grandma) EVER! He was attending a Luau themed camp at the preschool he will attend this fall with some of his future classmates. The camp ran Monday-Thursday, 9-noon, and I was really hoping he would enjoy himself. Later, when I picked him up from school, he was the first kid out the door and yelled "Mom! And came running to give me a giant hug with the biggest smile.

Monday, January 30, 2012. Sammy has finally graduated into a big boy bed! We purchased this awesome captain's style bed ( like Wyatt's. So we didn't need to purchase an additional dresser, which works out great since his room is so small. He was thrilled when Ross assembled it. He even gave the bed a few hugs. Monday, October 29, 2012. Instead of using foam stickers to turn our pumpkins into jack o'lanterns, we decided the kids were big enough to carve their pumpkins this year. They were shocked at the amount of seeds inside the pumpkins and weren't thrilled about the prospect of putting their hands into the sticky, wet insides. Thursday, November 25, 2010. First Day of School. Atwood has Mrs. Ross. Dilan and Megan both had her for 1st grade. He loves to follow rules and is very helpful in class. It is really fun to see him become a more confident reader. He really enjoys writing too (he must take after his big sister). Atwood came home on the 2nd day of school like this. You can't really see it, but he lost his first tooth while he was in library. He thought it was pretty cool because he pulled it out himself.
