Wednesday, May 8, 2013. I can't believe that our little tiny newborn is already a jabbering, mobile, incredibly active, smiley, giggly ONE YEAR OLD! Where has the time gone? Each seemingly inconsequential phase is somewhat bittersweet as you reflect on the little details that will no longer be part of your everyday, and revel in the new ones that will. Ryker continues to be the light of our life. We constantly get comments about how happy and friendly he is. Always a charmer! A winter walk in Texas.

Thursday, March 8, 2012. We had Ryker's 2 month check-up yesterday and he weighed in at 11 pounds 11 ounces and 22 1/4 inches long. He is getting roly-poly thighs and a double chin! Obviously, he is a great little enthusiastic eater (takes after the Brewers). He is sleeping pretty well at night, usually only wakes up once - which is a wonderful little habit into which he has worked himself! Our goal for month 3 is to be better at taking video of all the adorable (biased of course) things Ryker does. ...

Ik ben moeder van vijf kinderen, die in de jaren '80 zijn geboren. Ook ben ik inmiddels oma van een paar lieve kleinkinderen.
