What are milestone moves? In Social Dance there are moves that I’ve recently taken to calling “milestone-moves”. That came from a conversation last monday at the bar in our dancing school. We had just finished an intermediate level Salsa course and had learned the so-called cross body 360 move. Yes, you guessed it – that’s a cross body lead with a whole turn (instead of “only” half a turn like usual). Many of the students had a bit of a hard time with it. Especially my dear boys. This article was inspired by the past two days, in which we were lucky enough to participate in a WCS-Instructor course with Marc Heldt in Vienna and since then we’re full of new inputs and impressions. Of course we now also want to share these experiences and especially our enthusiasm for WCS with our community!
