Exploring the mountains and wild places of Britain and Ireland. Monthly Archives: May 2015. Glen Sannox and Glen Rosa 05.04.2015. Cascades in Glen Sannox. Luckily, our optimism wasn’t misplaced, as the clouds started to clear the tops after we’d been walking for a couple of miles, so for the first time we were able to see the mountains that enclose the glen: Goat Fell, Cir Mhor and Caisteal Abhail. Braving the war dogs, special forces, land mines, man traps, armed drones and rude signs (there were none of these by the way), we huddled down behind the corrugated walls where it was almost warm for a short lunchtime.

It'll be alright in the end, and if it's not alright, it's not the end.". Tuesday, 28 July 2015. Ls Belles, Yet More Trigpointing. Off we set uphill (why, why is it always uphill? Uphill, but not the top. The Great Outdoo...
