Our First Week in Fethiye, Turkey. After sleep we visited our friends boat at the marina and spent the day listening to their adventures on the Mediterranean and Aegean Sea's. I now love boats! Jerusalem - best day of trip so far! After all of this excitement we were able to get into the Burnt House which has a great movie and its air conditioned. In AD 70 the Romans took jerusalem and destroyed the city and Temple. The Burnt House displays rooms and a basement from this time period with the artifacts. A decision was made - 5 years ago my parents left the states and moved to the other side of the world. Everyone asks why and I do not think I can speak for them so I will just hope that one day you may meet them. They are two amazing people who by their great courage changed my families life. We left Caleb, our 2 year old, with some friends for his “vacation”…poor little guy won’t know what he missed until later in life when he notices he’s not in the pictures. Thanks to the Shermans and Eppsteins for watching him while we were gone! I am still waiting for the age when they start sleeping in.
