Backyard Birder Nature Gift Shop: February 2012
http://backyardbirdernaturegiftshop.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

The males are rather striking with red plumage which is a stark contrast to the females who sport a dowdy olive gray colour. These beautiful birds are ground feeders. Simply tossing the feed on the snow would suffice, though you may also go the route of a tray feeder that reduces the spread of the seeds li...

Backyard Bird Art - Home
My Backyard Birds are made out of PVC Pipe. Each bird is formed out of one piece of pvc pipe. I have designed patterns that I use to mark the pipe for cutting using a jig saw. I then use a heat gun to form the birds. After sanding the rough edges I spray paint them with a deluxe paint. I use acrylic 3-D eyes for a natural finished look. My pvc birds will withstand the weather as long as it’s not severe. They are perfect for gardens, pools, porches and more. Thanks for a great year.
