Northern Cardinals dotted the trees from the top to the ground. Other species include Downy Woodpecker, Carolina Wren, Pine Warbler, Brown Headed Nuthatch, Mourning Dove, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, and White Breasted Nuthatch. Laissez les bon temps roulez. Consider the birds of the air…. Doing His Best to Look Dashing. March 15, 2018. The male Bluebird that hangs about my backyard is doing his best to look dashing these days. He is rather comical as he strikes pose…. 8230;after pose…. 8230;after pose…. Trying to capture the attention of this lovely lady. Whenever she drops in for some food, he perches on a nearby branch, chirping and flitting his feathers. He is clearly keeping his eye on her! I mean really, he is rather irresistible, don’t you think?
