If Love is Round. Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Not the worst week, but. Can I just say this? I did not go to the hospital. 1 did not have work. 2 did not have children to take care of. 3 have an amazing, understanding, supportive husband. 4 friends helped me hang on. listened to me cry, to my memories. 5 understood CPSTD and brain scars from childhood maltreatment. 6 knew meds could solve the breakdown. 7 went horseback riding. I think if I stayed home, didn't do anything, I'd be ok. Fool that I am, fool.

October 28, 2013. My friend posted on Facebook today. Humility. Your post about humility rang true today. This is my first day of retirement. It was a difficult situation. I loved the children and I was so happy to teach them. But, pressured to push harder on the academics. Criticized for being too slow. There was no room for art or music. I came home crying every day. Hardhearted administration, controlling. Like I was reliving my childhood. Then with very mixed feelings, I left. Paint, write, garden.

May 4, 2015. New neighbors and birds' eggs. Two new houses in a formerly empty flat field. Bring two new neighbors, also another next door. Fewer titmouse, finches, towhees, European doves, quail at the feeders. Quail rushing from orchard pruned-piles to rock rose hedge to lane. A sparrow's nest in yellow climbing rose. Blue jay diving into rose, the quail's rock rose. Three foot gopher snake slides from prune-pile branches to rock rose. Ravens search from the sky with excellent vision. THE DUCK IS OK.

I had an occasion calling for bacon themed food and my mind immediately turned towards the famed bacon mat. This all took three hours and my house filled with smoke, but it was worth it. Be sure to put a cookie sheet with a rim below the cooking bacon in the oven, there was a lot of dripping fat and I saw a few flames. Watch your oven carefully! If Love is Round. Thursday, January 22, 2015. L can't seem to make Sense of it all. So different than I had envisioned. Even as a child Even as a teenager. Even as an adult. Would Sense include Dreams? Or Wants or Needs or Sperm Whales Sleeping? Just as I Am, Billy Graham sang. Just as I am, yes, to the sky and He so open armed, I am,. But someone else is making more sense? And fundamentally, finally. If only I could stop all this thinking, maybe I could stop this telling. Quiet isn't MY goal!
