Life as a Long Vacation: January 2015
http://lifeasalongvacation.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Life as a Long Vacation. Saturday, January 31, 2015. I'm so grateful to be on this journey. We've seen so many incredible things and met so many wonderful people. It seems like our lives are busy right now, and full of good things. January started out with our traditional sunrise. The beach was cool and overcast this year. Another dark grey to light grey welcoming, but perfect temperature for an early walk. Bug requested we try to make these at home this year as part of our Japanese feast. Takoyaki!

http://lifeasalongvacation.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Life as a Long Vacation. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. What a busy month! I know it usually is for most people but throw an anniversary, 4H, homeschool, field trips, a concert, and a bazaar into the holiday fray and it hits survival mode pretty quick. We did survive and even enjoyed 99% of it! Both kiddos got first place ribbons for their food! The crazy hair came from park day moments before we had to be to 4H, busy day. Busy week! Some part of him is always a blur of motion. We like the boxes. Annivers...

http://lifeasalongvacation.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Life as a Long Vacation. Monday, June 24, 2013. I can't believe June is almost gone! It goes too fast. Summer for us means lots of academic work to help balance the rest of the year when we play a lot. We still make time to play between the work, and sometimes they are the same thing! And science is always a favorite subject around here. The rest just goes along. Lots of trips to the library. Lots of reading. Lots of experiments. Shadow, the perky senior. Oh yeah, check out the 'Bag and Coat Check' full ...

Life as a Long Vacation: February
http://lifeasalongvacation.blogspot.com/2015/02/february.html
Life as a Long Vacation. Saturday, February 28, 2015. A walk on the beach at sunset. Commemorating the loss of a loved one. Shell piece in the sand. And just for good measure, we'll throw in some puppy love. He's laying on the chair next to me right now, wuffling so hard in his sleep he may bounce himself right off onto the floor. It's happened before. Self appointed stair guard. If you're on the floor, he's in your lap. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life as a Long Vacation. Life as a Long Vacation...

Life as a Long Vacation. Friday, July 25, 2014. Twice a year update seems ridiculous. It doesn't seem like that much time has passed. The infamous Legoland trip and a stroll through one of our favorite gardens. Flowering tree. Yes, this is what February looks like in Florida. Another variety of Passion Vine,. The c...

Life as a Long Vacation: September 2014
http://lifeasalongvacation.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Life as a Long Vacation. Monday, September 1, 2014. The month of August brought us back to co-ops, classes, and books. After the first few weeks of running in circles things seem to be developing a rhythm. Choir, archery, study, parks, 4H, etc. We have a lot of fun things to look forward to this year! I'm trying not to put 17,000 miles on our car again. A very cool lego journal for quotes! Math, math, and more math. Her book is huge and we'll need a celebration when it's done! They were tormented before ...
