http://barbarashalluephotography.blogspot.com/2011/08/you-are-my-sunshine-my-only-sunshine.html
Welcome to Long Hollow. Sunday, August 7, 2011. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away. Jimmie David and Charles Mitchell. I grew up with that song in my heart in the voice of my mother. In turn, I sang it to my kids. They say you should write what you know. It stands to reason you should photograph what you have, then doesn't it? Well, right now, I have plenty of sunshine in my face.

My kids are all grown, but I find I need that deep breath of salty air just as much now as I did then. It will be here in just a few weeks. The only problem with the weekend is my addiction.to photography. Here's the first batch. That there i...

And just soak up the sight and smell of them,. Before it's too late. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe to Long Holl...

A Color Guard escorted his casket and presented my mom with an American Flag. And then a lone trumpeter played "Day is Done". Rest in peace, Daddy. You deserve it. Beautiful photos. Youl...
