The Bartsch Family

Thursday, September 29, 2011. Trip to Texas August 2011, Houston. Andrew found a flavor he really wanted to try. I love this old delivery van. It makes you wish things were still simpler. When we got to Houston, we stayed with Kathy and Dan for a few days. We spent a day at the beach in Galveston. Meghan and Andrew loved it. They built a sand castle and played on the beach. For once we didn't get burned in Galveston, a first for me. Andrew expressing his joy! Texas Trip August 2011 Austin. It was so cold...

The Bartsch Family: June 2011

http://www.bartschfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/june-2011.html

Thursday, September 29, 2011. This year both Meghan and Andrew got braces. Can you say, "What tax refund? They are handling them just fine. The fourth of July in Dublin is always celebrated with the parade. This guy is called Sparky or something like that. The boy scouts always march in the parade. This year they got to ride bikes or scooters. So we decorated Andrew's for the parade. They were taught some special techniques as Andrew demonstrates. I wish I had video here. Labels: Soccer with the Brits.

The Bartsch Family: December 2008

http://www.bartschfamily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Our church had a Father/Daughter dance recently. Meghan took her dad. She looked WAY too grown up. But they had a nice time. Terry got her a corsage and she taught him the Macarena. Is that spelled right? This was Andrew's Halloween parade. A strange crowd of aliens. I don't know how they got on my camera. Meghan was Peter pan. (Be kind, I made the costume.) Andrew was Ben 10. Look at all our great pumpkins! This is Abigail and illustrates the dangers of donut bobbing.

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. I think we made a cute couple. It was cold and foggy often in the mornings. I was cold pretty much the whole time. But it wasn't too bad. Hey, I was away from home on a much needed vacation - no complaining here! The hotel for the event was the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara. It was pretty incredible. The hotel grounds were amazing. Everything was green and well manicured. This is a croquet court. I beat Terry 2 out of 3 times. Our trip was so relaxing. I got to read a l...

The Bartsch Family: March 2008

http://www.bartschfamily.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 10, 2008. Meghan has been studying famous people in her class. She chose George Washington to do a report on. The kids wrote a report and dressed like their subject and presented the report to their parents. I sewed the jacket she has on. I think I did a pretty good job! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Tap Family Update: December 2011

http://babytap.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Saturday, December 31, 2011. Still catching up here. In addition to Disney World, we had a few other events, like the Westwood High School Cheerleading Clinic and Christmas! Below are a few pics from each. Nate wanted a drum kit. Santa brought him a drum. Luke loves his puppy from Grandma! About to start a long car ride home. Doesn't Sarah look thrilled? Friday, December 23, 2011. We can't wait to go back when Luke is tall enough. Sarah thought that was the scariest ride by far because it goes backwards.

The Tap Family Update: Cowboys, and Leprechauns and American Girl, Oh My!

http://babytap.blogspot.com/2012/03/cowboys-and-leprechauns-and-american.html

Saturday, March 31, 2012. Cowboys, and Leprechauns and American Girl, Oh My! Apparently March was full of a variety of activities! The boys had Cowboy/Cowgirl Day at school (aka Go Texan Day when we were kids), the rodeo came to town, and we went out of town to Dallas for William's wedding! The highlight of our Dallas trip to Sarah. The American Girl store was pretty cool. Notice there's no Luke in any of these rodeo pictures. Poor kid misses out on so much. The Tap Family Update: July 2011

http://babytap.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Hmmm, oh Time, where have you gone? It's hard to believe that I have not updated our blog since July! Interesting how the updating of the blog ended with my going back to work. Coincidence? Well, as you can guess we have been BUSY! I will catch everyone up, month by month, so here is what we did in July (if I can remember.). As usual, we had lots of activity around July 4th. Trey's birthday party, a parade at Nate's school, our annual neighborhood parade. Family photo with Grandma.

The Tap Family Update: November 2011

http://babytap.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, November 30, 2011. We are starting to get busier, with Nate playing soccer and getting into his own activities. Luckily, Sarah just took gymnastics this year, so we aren't having to include any other games over the weekend. Luke did well, being carted off to this place and that. He is getting to be a lot of fun, smiling all the time and watching his big brother and sister. Bath time is so much fun! Happy Birthday to Mommy. Showing off her gymnastics skills. Enjoying snack with his buddies.

The Tap Family Update: October 2011

http://babytap.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Monday, October 31, 2011. Halloween is always a fun time for us. Kevin and I don't dress up like we used to, so we enjoy getting our kids into the spirit of the holiday. I enjoyed making tie-dyed shirts for Sarah's birthday. So I made everyone some for Halloween! Getting ready for Nate's Halloween parade. An angel, a garden gnome and Captain America walk into a bar. Front door pic, showing off the pumpkins. If only Sarah could keep me as organized! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Smith Family Blog.

The Tap Family Update: April 2011

http://babytap.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 28, 2011. Easter this year was a bit different. It all started out normally, but then I began having contractions on Easter morning, so Kevin and I spent most of the day at the hospital, only to be sent home. Unfortunately, that meant that we missed church, seeing our kids all dressed up, and Easter dinner! At Jenny's house with Joseph - cool float, huh? Nate takes notes from his cousins. Hmmmm. The annual cascarones fight. The annual pinata. Not a bad swing! Nate found the golden egg!

The Tap Family Update: Valentine's Day 2012, etc.

http://babytap.blogspot.com/2012/02/valentines-day-2012-etc.html

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Valentine's Day 2012, etc. Sarah participated in Marathon Kids, and because the organization knew. That her little brother did all of the running with her, they gave him his very own medal! Pre-Father/Daughter Dance pics for Girl Scouts. Thanks to the hairstyle that Aunt Ann found, I got to. Create this style for Sarah. Turned out pretty well, even with her super fine hair! At dinner with Lily, Sarah and Mackenzie. It seems to happen every year. Even Luke got a few things.
