Monday, January 10, 2011. As many of you know, we took the train from Marshall, TX to Rochester, NY with a layover in Chicago for our holiday trip. It took approx 43 hours from the time we left our house until the time we arrived in Rochester. Monday, July 18, 2011. M birthday party cake. We went to one of those pottery painting places. The kids had a great time! Tuesday, October 19, 2010. So many things going on. My head is swirling and it is all manifesting in grumpiness. So many things I have control over and others I don't. Those things I can control, I seem to put off causing more work and stress. What is it with that? I'm a lucky girl to have such amazing family, friends and wonderful memories. Now, back to work. Monday, August 1, 2011. I've been practicing for nearly 3 months on unsuspecting strangers. Now I'm ready to invite people I know to come to the school clinic for acupuncture treatments! Treatments are $37 with supervised interns. Tell anyone and everyone you know. I just sent out a mass email to all of my Houston contacts but had old email addresses for some I haven't seen in a while. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Barb and I celebrated Ded's. Birthday last night. I drank a. Amount and felt that we were pretty responsible when Barb and I called our husbands for a ride home. But something must have gone wrong with me last night. Maybe it was the Margarita. That I drank at Chili's after the party? Maybe it was the combination of vodka and tequila. Monday, January 26, 2009. Snow Day and Dead Fish. So today was a snow day for school district #2. YEAH! Trouble with that is that is was very apparent by 9:00 am that the sun was making a come back and there would really be no need for a snow day. Great, now we have to make it up later in the year. UGH. Oh well, guess who had off today too? Could life get any better? Thursday, January 15, 2009. Normal, and a new relationship. I guess it doesn't matter, whatever this is, I'm happy just to soak it all in.
