More Fun Than a Standardized Test. Thursday, March 29, 2007. Enrichment tonight was a success! Due in part to my magical planning skills. I suggested that we have pizza. and Bre's magical texting skills. She got the word out and there were 20-25 girls who showed up. Yes, I did buy Diet Coke and brought it to a church activity and yes there was a questionable discussion at the end but other than that it was all on the up and up. Wednesday, March 28, 2007. More Bacon Than the Pan Can Handle. Watch, learn, and don't eat my cookie. The Heat is On. I finally got heat back in the middle of the night Friday. It took the weekend for my building to warm back up, but I'm relieved to no longer be so very very cold. I spent the cold days using hand warmers in gloves and socks, sitting on a heating pad, and then ultimately buying a space heater for a wintery day of working from home due to snow. Next adventure: finding a place in my apartment for the space heater!
