LOVE AND HOGWASH | Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope
https://lilburdy.wordpress.com/2012/03/28/phto
Life's rain and rainbows. Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope. Yes I love shoes! Just sitting and watching the first season of Love and Hiphop led me through a whole set of emotions. I went through blaming myself for the things that I have been through with men to blaming the men and their mothers who want them to remain babies till they are 50. One thing that was constant however, even after taking responsibility, was the feeling that men should really step up! I think the worst of things is wishing that a guy ...

Captured by Grace | Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope

Life's rain and rainbows. Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope. Yes I love shoes! I need to share a story. It is about a servant. He owes a king a huge debt and when he is called to pay, he finds that he is not able to and he pleads with the king to give him time to pay. The king feels sorry for him and cancels the debt. What would Jesus do? Would He just dismiss them and exhale “good riddance”? Wouldn’t He wrap His arms around them and say He forgives them? 8230;Of Friendships #QLC →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Of Times I Forget | Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope
https://lilburdy.wordpress.com/2013/10/17/of-times-i-forget
Life's rain and rainbows. Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope. Yes I love shoes! Of Times I Forget. At times I forget, of the One who made me; He who formed my purposes and ordains my steps. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. It amazes me every time that I still learn new truths even after 16 years in this Journey. These are things that I have heard all my life but they finally sink in! Every blessing you pour out.

Life's rain and rainbows. Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope. Yes I love shoes! So yes I am dreaming again. I don’t remember what ignited this fire but it doesn’t matter. I am dreaming again and it feels so good. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. I remember thinking where was He? How could He wait till everything was falling apart to show up? But wait, was I listening? I guess what I need to do is be still. So now I am still! Turnin...

Life's rain and rainbows. Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope. Yes I love shoes! I was on a hiatus. From blogging? No, from many things, basically life. I would say that I couldn’t blog because what I was going through was too personal but that wasn’t true. I was on a hiatus from living. Isaiah 58:11New International Version (NIV). 11 The Lord will guide you always;. He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land. And will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden,. Fight of my Life. Motiv...

Fight of my Life | Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope
https://lilburdy.wordpress.com/2015/03/18/fight-of-my-life
Life's rain and rainbows. Rainbows in My Kaleidoscope. Yes I love shoes! Fight of my Life. It’s the only word that can describe it. I could not see. I could not see the light. I couldn’t feel the Love that was around me. I couldn’t reach out for it as much as I groped for the light. I was in prison; bonded and heartbroken. Joy eluded me even though I kept appearances. That was the hardest part! That I could not see hope, I felt I had no right being alive. The speck of light is shining bright! Motivationa...

Monday, 6 January 2014. I am tempted to say that the conversation dug up nostalgic memories, but that would be a lie. when I was younger, the wake up call was more of a command rather than a plea. There was no hint of it being an option. It was a simple statement "Wake up! At that point you knew that you dare not wait for the second call, because that would mean that you would miss breakfast. Top of their voice that it was time to wake up. They called it a wake up call, I called it cruel and unusual ...

Tuesday, 2 June 2015. My "beloved" dubious Kenyan politician picked up on Sepp Blatter and chose to resign? What if they used the words "there comes a time when the country is more important than the individual" adn meant those words. What if the first bill that MP's voted in parliament had nothing to do with salaries? Or if they went a whole term without touching that salary bill? What if they debates were not about amassing power, but about giving people power? What if we were not so desperate? And if ...
