Friday, June 18, 2010. The book parade was a very successful with a wide range of charters including a cyber Turkey and some talking toilets. Many people thought it was very amusing and a creative festival Michael was called the artful dodgier . Harry was the boy called Greg from the book called the diary of a wimpy kid. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Our trip to motat. On Friday the 2nd of June the Year 5's and 6's went to Motat. It was a long and annoying journey because many people were singing songs. When we arrived we were told the rules. The part was to finally open our lunch box and eat our morning tea. After that we headed down to the classroom. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Tuesday 6th March was a very exciting day for all the Year 5's at BBPS. Everyone gathered at school at 6.40am when it was still dark and boarded two buses heading for Goat Island Marine Reserve up north near Leigh. We have been studying all about marine reserves in class and their significance to marine life and the environment. The highlight of the day would have to have been the snorkelling! Friday, June 18, 2010. Book Parade 2010 By Madeleine,Sarah and Abby. On Friday 18th June 2010 Bucklands Beach Primary School held a book parade celebrating books! Everybody's costumes were AMAZING! It went in order from Middle school, Junior school and then last the Senior school. People wore fabulous costumes! There were cats, witches, vampires, pirates and all the things you can think of! BBPS Middle Team Blog. Thursday, June 2, 2011. The Middle School celebrated Science week with a day rotating among the middle school classes learning everything from making 'goo' to eating lava rocks from erupting volcanoes, electrical circuitry and magnetism! In Room 17, with Mrs Howie, we learned that magnets have a North and South pole. We also learned that opposite poles attract and like poles repel.
