When we stopped by for dinner in a relatively unplanned trip to Kansas City this weekend. I’d heard good things about it and we were not disappointed. The service and food were both great at the Martin City location we hit for a little chow. What surprised me was the waitress’s response to the, “What do you have for beer? Cheers, Jack Stack!

A blog, apart from my usual dribble, devoted to beer. Review: Oskar Blues Gordon. Gordon is a hybrid version of strong ale, somewhere between an Imperial Red and a Double IPA. We make it with six different malts and three types of hops, then dry-hop it with a mutha lode of Amarillo hops. It is 8.7% alcohol by volume, and has 85 International Bittering Units.
