indie.knits: February 2015
http://blog.indieknits.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. These last few weeks, my heart has been full. Death as a matter of course makes us examine our own lives, to draw warm things and people nearer to our hearts. In realizing the fragility of others, we hew to patterns of comfort; we take time to stop and count each moment as a blessing. We tell ourselves that this has changed everything,. The familiar heft of that feeling sticks in my chest, though my copy of it is old and worn. When there is nothing to be done. Links to this post.

indie.knits: (Free!) Pattern Release: Camas
http://blog.indieknits.com/2015/05/free-pattern-release-camas.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. My contribution to the 2015 Puget Sound LYS Tour, the Camas. Hat, is now available to everybody - and this one's a freebie! I had an awesome time on the yarn tour - thank you so much to all of you who came to say hello, and to everyone who shared their positive feedback about my hat. It was really exciting to have my design so well-received! It's also a pretty simple knit, with just a touch of lace to keep you occupied in between bands of garter stitch. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Ballgown: Day 27 (Or, Loose Ends). Just few days, some hand sewing, a waist stay, and a couple dozen buttons left, and my little Cutie on the table becomes Clara, brought to life - and I can't wait to meet her. indie.knits: December 2014
http://blog.indieknits.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Year In Review: 2014. On January 2nd of this year, I had this to say about my intentions for the coming days. Although I'm tempted to exactly outline the sparkly, new-wardrobed Cory who will be writing this same post in a year's time, I'm more inclined to leave it fuzzy:. 2014 will be a year of building both humility and confidence;. A year of being a student of many things;. A year of quiet and constant growth. I had a rough beginning of the year, health-wise. It's been a d...

indie.knits: November 2014

Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Design Notebook: Talus Hat. I picked up just a few special skeins at Knit Fit this year, including this gorgeous skein of YOTH. Big Sister in the colorway Oyster. I had been on the search for a light neutral dk weight for a hat design that has been kicking around my head for a bit, and this misted grey hit all the right notes. So the other day, I pulled out my stitch dictionaries, fired up my Excel charts, and grabbed a few leftovers to swatch. Posted by Cory Ellen Boberg.

Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Sick Day WIP: Lupine. I'm home with a cold today, so I've been working on this little shawlette design I started a while back. It's actually the second version of it - the first is already finished, and just needs blocking, photography, and an official write-up! Happy Wednesday, friends - I'm off to nap! Posted by Cory Ellen Boberg. Links to this post. Friday, April 24, 2015. I already talked a bit. What started as an experiment in lace turned into a functional, interesting pie...
