Of a trophy wife. Friday, February 27. No school today. It was quite the surprise, too. Woke up to ice. Not snow. Ice. Look, poke fun if you want. If you're from anywhere above the Red River, just have yourself a nice warm bowl of Shut It Stew and let me talk about Texas. We love snow. When it happens. But ice? I feel bad for the people who had to go to work. For jobs that would be just fine if they shut down for the day. Like, oh I don't know, a local company who sells computer software? I busted my ass!

Monday, November 30, 2009. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of food, family, and friends. We were fortunate enough this year to be able to travel to Mississippi for the holiday and visit with our families. The boys loved playing with all of their cousins while the adults enjoyed good food, conversation, and shopping. Chris and Wy headed out Friday night to assist in setting up, but the majority of the families showed up on Saturday.
