Becoming an Adirondack 46er: Giant Mountain - Short But Steep
http://becoming46er.blogspot.com/2008/09/giant-mountain-short-but-steep.html
Becoming an Adirondack 46er. A blog about my adventures in becoming an Adirondack 46er. Giant Mountain - Short But Steep. Giant Mountain (#12 of 46; 4,627 ft.) is a really cool mountain. The hike is short, only 6 miles round trip or so via the Ridge Trail, but is extremely steep and a constant stair-climb. When you think you are almost to the summit. you are fooled. I did this hike with my Hiking Mates on July 29, 2007. Here. Is the link to our event posting. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Becoming an Adirondack 46er. A blog about my adventures in becoming an Adirondack 46er. Big Slide - My 5th High Peak. Big Slide (#27 of 46; 4240 ft.) is an awesome hike. and one of my favorites so far. The hike over The Brothers offers nearly continuous views of the Great Range, Giant and Hurricane Mountain. We had a gorgeous day with warmth and sun. I definitely want to visit this mountain again during different seasons, especially fall. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Big Slide - My 5th High Peak.

Skip to main content. Skip to secondary content. Wonder and exasperation in my 35th year. March 6, 2012. So for Lent, I’m trying to do things that will help me become a better sleeper. This is, of course, little sacrifice compared to what Jesus endured before Easter, but each time I must stop obsessively working (or obsessively checking Facebook–let’s be honest! But the Bible tells me,. It is no use for you to get up early. And stay up late,. Working for a living. The Lord gives sleep to those he loves.
