Lifes greatest blessing is the love of a family. Time for another monthly update. 9 - 12 months. Crawling.and can pull herself up on furniture at times. She WILL. Be crawling by 9 months. Harper was crawling at 7 months.but she didn't have a big sister to place toys in front of her whenever she whined! Still lots of gibberish. She also makes a funny high-pitched chant - a cross between a puppy yelping and a monkey. We have started giving Elliet soft table foods and she loves it! Bath time with sissy!

Lifes greatest blessing is the love of a family. Adam is now one spot away from working the day shift. Yay! Currently, the Sheriff's office is an 8-man department, with the first 4 deputies working days and the last 4 deputies working nights. Adam is now deputy #5 (He started at 8! The previous sheriff retired a few months ago and one of the deputies took over as the new Sheriff today. So everyone essentially "moved up one spot.". Another 3 lbs - not looking good for me! It makes my whole belly jump!

On top of making/assembling our own tiramisu, we had to also make our own marscarpone cheese, lady fingers, zabaglione and vanilla pastry cream. Sunday, November 29, 2009. November Daring Bakers Challenge - Cannoli! After semi-mastering the art of macaroons last month, I went into November thinking I could definitely handle whatever the DB's threw at me this month. I greatly enjoyed furthering my baking skills and trying new things so this month I was looking forward to more of the same. The directions from the Daring Bakers website are as follows:. Makes 22-24 4-inch cannoli. Filling – 5-10 minutes plus chilling time (about 2 hours or more).

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Daring Bakers December 2009 - Gingerbread Houses! This month, the Daring Bakers were tasked with making Gingerbread Houses. When I was very young, my mom used to making very extravagent gingerbread houses with her 5th grade students and then enter them into a local contest. I figured if she did it so well, it must be in the blood! I was really looking forward to this challenge as it offered a creative outlet during this super busy and hectic time of year. 1 large egg white.
