Roaming Rita: February 2014
http://roamingrita.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Follow my adventures both near and far as I have fun with friends and family! Friday, February 21, 2014. Colors on our journey. Color is important to me. My walls are painted in a cheery hummingbird blue. On my travels, whether on a local errand or more exotic trip, I keep my camera at my side ready to take home the eye candy I find along the way. Below are some highlights of colors I found on these journeys. I hope you'll spend your day admiring the colors in your life's path. Red car at Red Rocks.
Traveling Tea Lady: August 2010
http://travelingtealady.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 24, 2010. As some of you might know or suspect, I like to have fun! That's why when I heard. By John Friday I laughed and declared it my "theme song". My theme song before this had been the foot stomping "Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison. I will still claim "Pretty Woman" as a theme song but it has to take second place now. I hope you enjoy hearing this song and that it puts a smile on your face! I had heard once that we all need to have a theme song. What is yours? Sunday, August 15, 2010.
Traveling Tea Lady: December 2010
http://travelingtealady.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 31, 2010. It's New Years Eve, still 2010, inching towards a new year. Having a blog I decided to look back and note a few things about 2010. Because of Rex's weak health, our insurance company put us up in a residence hotel and the restoration on our home began. It was a full month before the new paint, wallpaper and walls were back into place. The remodel turned out beautifully but the disruption was stressful. The month of April found Rex in New Orleans for a geology meeting. I sur...

R and R's T and T. Friday, December 31, 2010. It's New Years Eve, still 2010, inching towards a new year. Having a blog I decided to look back and note a few things about 2010. In March, Rex and I took a road trip to Dallas to visit our dear friend, Wayne. We hadn't seen him in a long while and he had some special dishes he wanted to give us. It was wonderful to spend a short visit with him but Rex was feeling so poorly we left early and hurried home. He gifted me with one of his CDs and some other fun t...

Traveling Tea Lady: Scottevest is perfect for a Sailing Trip!
http://travelingtealady.blogspot.com/2012/06/scottevest-is-perfect-for-saiiling-trip.html
Monday, June 25, 2012. Scottevest is perfect for a Sailing Trip! I was so blessed at TBEX12 in Keystone, Colorado, when I became the proud recipient of a red Scottevest. It is the ultimate travel vest with 17 pockets in a lightweight, breathable poly fabric. This company is so awesome they provided these vests for all the attendees at TBEX12. Wow, I am impressed with them and have become a loyal follower. I think I'll start a gift registry with Scottevest. And, the vest looks good on you, too. You can fi...

Beth Blackmur's Blog. Just learning the art of blogging…. Evaluation of the news days. May 3, 2011. For both news days I mainly worked on producing content for the twitter feed. The first news day differed from the second as it was April Fools Day so the rest of the twitter team and I were able to do a round up of the best April Fools pranks on the web and tweet the links. I certainly picked up a few lessons on what’s like to work in a cross media news room. The busyness and stress of getting m...I could...

Blair Adventures
Saturday, July 18, 2015. I wanted to write a post reflecting on Abby's first year of life. She isn't one quite yet; her birthday is the 27th and this week will be crazy busy. It was either write it now or probably in November. Now it is! Our first day home from the hospital was less than fun. Milo sniffed Abby when we got home. Introductions were made and the two became acclimated to each other immediately (our sleepy little newborn had no choice! And Milo laid down and went back to sleep, likely forgett...
