I often see people strolling along the pier and stopping for a moment or two of contemplation. I set out to try to recreate these moments in my photography today. After a drizzly few days and with the promise of sunshine, Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum seemed like an ideal destination for an afternoon walk with its lovely mix of formal gardens and woodland (plus the all-important tea room).
