Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Arabidopsis.org. In order to decide which of these genes would be more suitable to study, we agreed to search separately for sources concerning possible experimental effects mutants of these genes might have upon arabidopsis plants. We will then pool this data and determine as a group which gene, and in turn which mutant, is suitable for study. Further research will then be conducted to support the mutant of choice. Archive for March, 2007. March 25, 2007 · Filed under Lab. On April 8, we prepared regular MS media, and media with auxin and cytokinin. April 9 we planted seeds on the plates and prepared tDNA samples from our SALK mutants for PCR. We plan on running our gel with the PCR products from April 17 on April 24 (one month before my birthday! And from the data we’ve been obtaining, I would not be surprised to find out that the SALK 127603 mutant seeds do not contain the TDNA insert. Comments (1) ».

So, I realize that this is way overdue, but i completly forgot about it until I looked at my lab notebook. For this lab, we measured the absorbance of extracted chlorophyll from spinach leaves at different wavelengths. We measured the wavelength from 400-700 nm (at 10 nm intervals), as well as at 663 nm and 645 nm. A plot was then constructed of absorbance vs. wavelength. Absorbance vs. Wavelength. Fill in your ...
