So today was my offical last day of summer. i know i got an extra week compared to all of my friends but i still want more. even though i think my semester will be relatively easy. :). Time to break out of my box. Saturday, January 23, 2010. Make a Smilebox collage. Sunday, January 17, 2010. Even here when i don't use it everyday i still am happy it saves me sometimes! Bjorg picked me up at the trainstation in hedensted. but her family lived in the next sister town. we arrived at her family's adorable danish house and dropped off my things before we went to church. Carrots, red (christmas) cabbage, fruit, and fantastic gravy. i can't remember the rest because there was just so much!

Time to break out of my box. Sunday, March 21, 2010. End of my mommy's stay. So today was the end of my mom's visit over here. it was so very nice to see her! I hate the airport. i hate being left here alone and seeing the people i love leave without me. the feeling i get on the train when i have to go back to doing things alone. eating alone. etc. hate it. i'm sure i look like a lost puppy out in the rain every time i drop someone off at the airport. My Stick Family from WiddlyTinks.com. Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Our Independence Day weekend included lots of time spent with family and friends. We started off the weekend with a trip to see our handsome godson, Xander. He's getting so big! We also had a HUGE get together with Mark's dad's side of the family. His grandparents were Grand Marshals in the parade on Monday morning, and all 6 of his grandmother's siblings were able to make it in to see that. What a wonderful weekend that went by way too fast!

My Stick Family from WiddlyTinks.com. Saturday, May 22, 2010. Before Amanda graduates, we're spending a few days at my parents' farm, north of Burns, WY. There are definitely things that I appreciate about it now that I never paid much attention to when I lived here. Here's a few pictures that I took around our yard today. Four new kittens to love : ) Goldie III, Gray Ball II, Chip, and Theodore. The windmill in front of our house. Our dog Bear. I love him so much! An old wagon wheel that's in our yard.

We went to the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. I wish we would have had more time for some of the tours like mission control, but it was raining so hard they had to cancel a lot of them and then as you can imagine, the wait time was crazy! We made some patriotic rice krispy treats! Amanda trying to keep the sun off!

I can finally breathe a sigh of relief because finals are done around this house for both Mark and I! I think we're both ready to move on though. My Stick Family from WiddlyTinks.com. Monday, September 13, 2010. Well, we are now back in Golden and we're so happy to be back home! We've been back now for a little over a month. I'm back at work and starting my last year of school, and Mark has been gone a lot finishing up his thesis work before he has to start writing. We had a lot of fun during Labor Day weekend. My sister came to Mark's grandparent's cabin with us as well as some extended family. It was good to get away for a few days!
