Ryan and Shilo Munk. Saturday, May 22, 2010. For my birthday, we went to the East Coast. We started and ended our trip with a visit to Colter and his family. (The NYC tour. Are in other posts.). The 30th birthday (yep, I am that old) started with a trip to the Jersey Shore. It was beautiful. The kids played in the freezing water and dug huge holes in the sand. Then we went to a great pizza restaurant and finished the celebration with a cake Jill made from scratch. It was a pretty great birthday.

Ryan and Shilo Munk. Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Fourth of July in Boise. We decided to do a road trip to Boise for the Fourth of July. Thursday morning we loaded up the car and started the drive. We decided to take a slight detour and see Yosemite. It was my first time being there and Ryan hadn't seen it since he was little. We were lucky we decided to go on Thursday, because once the weekend hit, the roads in and out of Yosemite would be packed. Do you see the bear? The little brown dot in the center).

Sunday, June 5, 2011. Here are a few fun things we have been doing. Katie loves her new sister. One day she had pulled her stool out right in front of the swing so she could play with her. She is always wiping up her "spills" and giving her toys. It's so cute. Kimball bought her an umbrella one day. She still tells everyone she has an umbrella. So far, it hasn't rained, but when it does she will be ready with her rainboots and umbrella and singing in the rain. The 4 generations and all the great grandkids.

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. She loves picnics at the park. We found a park with swings and ducks. That's really all she needs. It's not your eyes, the pictures are fuzzy. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. It's official, Kimball is now an RN. He took the NCLEX yesterday. We found out this morning that he PASSED! We are so proud of him. All of his hard work has paid off. Ryan and Shilo Munk. Sunday, July 11, 2010. Beano Comes to Visit. Our friend Beano came out from Arizona for a few days to visit us and see L.A. The first night we went to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. Beano really wanted to go there and Ryan loves it. On Saturday, Ryan had a work party - Coney Island theme. So we stopped by for some games and give Beano a tour of Nick. Then we went to the Griffith Observatory, where you can see all of LA. We hadn't been there, so it was pretty cool. Friday, June 29, 2012. Anna finally grew enough hair to have her first haircut. She was a little concerned at first. But in the end she loved it. She actually loves getting her hair done. Friday, June 29, 2012. Katie was in preschool this year. She loved it. They had 3 and 4 year olds in her class. She kept telling me that she wanted to be 5 so she could go to Kindergarten. I couldn't figure out where she would have heard about Kindergarten. Then I realized they were probably talking it up pretty big for the 4 year olds. They had a really cute program with a bunch of songs that I had been hearing parts of for months. Big congratulatory hug from Anna (she is our hugger).
