Ping Pong Postcards: April 2008
http://pingpongpostcards.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2008. One of the fun incidents of our trip to the Smokies happened one day when we stopped at a pull-off to see if we wanted to hike there. A man came up and asked if we were from Cornwall (England)! He is from Penzance, and grew up just 4 miles from Hayle, where Grandpa Rowe grew up! Monday, April 28, 2008. Finally organized our pictures from NYC. Friday, April 25, 2008. Friday 5: Food fads. Lifted this from http:/ poefusion.blogspot.com/. Are they diet gospel or modern quackery?

Ping Pong Postcards: Material Monday: New Year's Eve traditions
http://pingpongpostcards.blogspot.com/2008/12/material-monday-new-years-eve.html

We started the tradition of eating fondue on New Year's Eve a number of years ago after some of my coworkers mentioned that that was something their families did. We should watch it together, it's one of my faves, too! January 6, 2009 at 6:31 AM. I'm post...

Saturday, June 28, 2008. YIP (Yard in Progress) 28Jun2008. This week in review. Two weeks in a row now, I thought I would post a 'week in review' because I hadn't gotten aroung to a Friday 5. But last week, Lorraine beat me to the punch with her Friday 5 and this week, I thought of one I wanted to post (albeit on Saturday morning). Ping Pong Postcards: May 2008

It was good to (re) acquaint ourselves with this little bird - unassuming and pert and hard to see amongst the tree canopy that grows denser each day. Mose seems to have an affinity for this little guy - the rufous-sided towhee. He says it looks like a S'more. What's not to love? Or, as the folks at the Reserve interpret it - 'Beaver Creek!
