The History of Bette's Place Restaurant. Bette's Place Restaurant was opened in April 1975. Bette Walters always dreamed of owning her own restaurant. Bette started her business in a small area and expanded four times to meet the demand of her customers. Her motto was never to serve any food that you wouldn't eat yourself.
