Photo of my favorite bird- Blue Crowned Motmot. Thursday, November 29, 2012. Rick and I took a road trip to Santa Barbara for Thanksgiving. I did not take any photos of the big event (Thanksgiving dinner), although it was lovely. We ate outside which was a first for me with Thanksgiving. It was very enjoyable. Between dinner and pie we walked down to the nature park. Well, some of us walked, others rode in the chariot. (This was part of Mara's Halloween costume this year.). Wednesday, November 28, 2012.

Don't think I'm all about health food (we have plenty of cold cereal for meals at our house), but it's easy to not buy soda and it's a baby step in the right direction to helping kids create healthy habits. Photo of my favorite bird- Blue Crowned Motmot. Thursday, January 31, 2013. We had a yummy crepe dinner the other night. I made two fillings for the savory crepes- bacon and mushroom and crab. They were delicious, although pretty rich. Rick made a yummy chocolate creme that we paired with strawberries and bananas for our dessert crepes. Yum! We had a little too much chocolate creme.
