He was craving the voice of tzadikim. Hashem loves to hear Jews. Even those that don't make the news [2]. Praying is not a shopping list. That part is just the mist. If that’s all you do – you missed the point. Oh and yiddishkeit is not about scoring points. Loving Hashem like a child loves his parent. This love is inherent.

To be accepted to Tomchei Temimim, you cannot be a bluff. This boy looked like tough stuff. He was so full of puff. Yes he had mastered much Talmud. But his heart is no too refined. Can he become one of our kind [1]. The Rebbe Rashab told his son. We might have a chance. To mold this boy. And mature him into the real. He did not sigh.

Yet I know this will eventually fade and get expired. I don't want this to end. I want it to continue on end. Getting inspired is something I highly recommend. Your spirit it will mend. You folly it will bend. To get it, cash you need not spend. It can come in a moment. It can come at any time. In me it does come.

Just make sure you know who composed the song. For the new mood might be one you don’t want. You got to know who’s under the hood. Does he live in the hood? Or is he where he should? Escaping with a sweet tune. It’s not really an escape. One is really coming home. Tapping into to his deeper self. See Sefer Hamamorim 5680 p. 15.

Maybe it's not about the big things. Oh the little stuff. I think I like this. Maybe my 1 will turn into a 100 or maybe a 1000. Elul is supposed to be about change. Well the weather does sometime change. Don't they talk about the "Elul vint [winds]"? Did you ever have a pauper turn down a penny? I once had it thrown back at me.
