Tytan is now 9 months old and is starting to say Dada and Mama (we think anyways) and is almost getting up on his knees to crawl. Tuesday, February 7, 2012. In preparation for our new bundle of joy, my mom and little sister Clarissa came down to watch the kids for us while we went to the hospital. My scheduled induction date was set for January 23rd. I was told by the doctor that I should get called in any time between midnight and 7:30 am that morning but since I was first on the list, I should be ready to go at midnight. Wednesday, February 8, 2012. We came home on Wednesday, January 25th at 2:00 pm. I couldn't stand to stay in the hospital any longer because the beds are just TERRIBLE and I felt really good. (I asked for Ibuprofen during my stay because nursing was hurting but other than that, I had relatively no pain.) I hurried and ordered lunch before we left (took full advantage, that's right) and got myself one last oreo shake (so delish! All snug and ready to come home! Eugene and my cute Diesl. Friday, February 10, 2012. Grandma and Grandpa Penrose Visit. Adam's parents came down to see us on January 25th and stayed for 4 days. We really enjoyed their company and all of their help. We are so grateful for them. On Saturday January 28th, we went to the golf course in Bloomington and fed the ducks. It was so nice to get out of the house and Layla just slept away in the car. Diesl enjoyed feeding them and just watching them do what they do. Such a beautiful January afternoon. I love him so much.

Thursday, September 6, 2012. What would you do for a good picture? Think about it. really. Would you wait for hours for the sun to hit that spot just perfectly? Would you stand in the most awkwardly position in front of everyone just to get the right angle? Would you sweat profusely, taking shots over and over again until you get both of your kids to smile? Would you get bit up by ants and not even care because they both just smiled at the same time! What about the person on the other side of the camera.

Saturday, January 19, 2013. Alana likes to think that she doesn't need a nap but she does! She will be having lunch and then be really quiet which can be a bad thing but then you go in and she looks like this. Thursday, January 10, 2013. Here is where the fun begins for our Lily Lake Yurt trip. We are getting everything ready in the parking lot close to the winter closer gate for the mirror lake byway. Then we are off for a fun filled 3 mile ski and snowshoe trip to the yurt. Delicious noodles for lunch.

Friday, August 31, 2012. Brigham City Temple Open House. Growing up I lived in Perry, Utah which is south of Brigham City and I attended middle and high school in Brigham City. When it was announced in General Conference a couple years ago that a Temple was going to be built there, it was really exciting!
