Friday, June 23, 2006. THEY SAY IT'S MY BIRTHDAY. Today is the anniversary of my birth. I must say that my parents took great care of me as I grew up to be a young adult and married. This month we celebrate the completion of the settlement of my parents. Estate after 51/2 long years, and I would like to think that they were giving us this gift we have been given as a testiment of the long and hard work they accomplished in their lives. I think that that is quite a celebration! I am blessed this Birthday.

Wednesday, December 28, 2005. A NEW YEAR IS DAWNING. In a few days it will be the new year 2006! I remember thinking ahead to the year my youngest son would graduate,2001, and thought it quite a strange thing. I remember that as we prepared for the turn of the century, we traveled up to my parent's home outside Placerville.We were not sure what would come as the new year hit. We even brought the two older children's fiancees. Well time has passed by so quickly that I hardly can fathom these last 5 years!
