Sure, I have other smaller addictions that distract me from the big one at times, but overall, my opiate is reading. It’s not a bad addiction to have, considering the availability of new fixes. Apr 8th, 2009 at 10:31 PM. One month from today I will be officially a year older. Nothing too exciting there. And yet I am excited about one of the best birthday presents I’ll have gotten in recent years. I get to go see the new Star Trek movie for my birthday. It opens on my birthday! And the buzz is good. About an hour ago a tree (or as it turns out the top half of a tree and some big branches on the way down) fell onto the power line that connects to our house. We didn't lose power because instead of the line snapping, it yanked about 4-5 feet of cabling (along with parts of the house) out of the wall. 3 comments Leave a comment. Dragon*Con Young Adult Literature Track. Sep 10th, 2010 at 12:16 AM. I know it's way early to whine about not having a handout posted from the con, but I'm impatient! I missed out on the Upcoming Books panel and didn't get a handout, and the www.encounteringenchantment.com. And www.bonniekunzel.com. Websites haven't been updated since 2008 (or I'm navigationally challenged and can't find them). Can anyone scan in the handout so I can start filling out order forms for my local independent bookseller?
