The name “Beware of goats” came about in a desperate attempt to find a blog name not already registered and relates to an incident during my first haphazard cycling trip in Mongolia back in 2011. It involves goat intestine and a ripped tent. It got pretty messy, but became one of the more memorable moments. More about that later perhaps…. September 22, 2015. Bike safely tucked away on the bus to Murun. A tip from many other bike blogs is to roll your duct tape around either a bottle or pump to save space. I quickly realised I would need double and already after three days of cycling I had rinsed the water bottle supply. The main reason for this is probably one of my favourite parts of my touring rig.
