Beyond Reasonable Doubt: Sarah Straker

http://www.beyond-reasonable-doubt.blogspot.com/2006/06/sarah-straker.html

Sarah has a real commitment to her work that can be seen in her attention to detail and line quality. Since her recent arrival at the studio she has quickly developed a unique style that is bold, fun and vibrant. Her choice of a fluorescent palette make her detailed patterns glow, a glow that appeared not only in her art but also in Sarah. Having access to art making and being allowed to engage in a creative process has definitely stimulated growth and development in Sarah. View my complete profile.

Beyond Reasonable Doubt: Emmet Dale

http://www.beyond-reasonable-doubt.blogspot.com/2006/06/emmet-dale.html

Emmet has a full-time job. Once a week he is an artist playfully creating and reworking abstract fields of colour. It was a rare figurative image that instantly elevated Emmet from a regular guy to a much appreciated artist/designer. His simple expressive ‘volcano’[sic] image became one of the most popular T-shirt designs of our collection. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Was published at the time of closing to celebrate the achievements of the artists and the staff and thank the sponsors.

Called a pattern/design, zigzag and shapes.”. Daniel captures the world as he perceives it. He is quick, driven, and seems to know exactly what it will look like when it is finished. He has won an award in the IHC/Telecom national Art Awards.

Beyond Reasonable Doubt: Damian Milizewski

http://www.beyond-reasonable-doubt.blogspot.com/2006/06/damian-milizewski.html

Damian’s process of self-discovery gained momentum when the option to digitally manipulate images of himself was made available to him. The process extracted emotions he had difficulty expressing. Instead of living his life vicariously through the lives of his super-wrestling heroes, he is now acknowledging his experience of life as a valid one. Details of his collage became the foundation for a T-shirts design. Popular with young males. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Beyond Reasonable Doubt: Jeff Dixon

http://www.beyond-reasonable-doubt.blogspot.com/2006/06/jeff-dixon.html

Access to digital media that match and challenge Jeff abilities drastically transformed his short attention span into a dedicated work ethic. His popular prints of trains and ‘trains of trains’ adorn many kids rooms. His graphic designs are worn as hip limited edition T-shirts. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Scream! Jorunn's Saga: Scream! It's Jorunn's Saga

http://mb-scream.blogspot.com/2008/08/scream-its-jorunns-saga-radio-playshort.html

THE FIRST OF JUNE. Happy Birthday June was written all over the first of June on the calendar in the kitchen. The year was 793 AD, the place Lindisfarne island off the Northeast coast of Britain. How could anyone forget June’s birthday. She would sing ‘Happy birthday to me’ during the weeks leading up to her birthday, driving her parents mad. 8220;Happy birthday to me. Happy birthday to me. Happy birthday to me-he. Happy birthday to me”. Finally the day had arrived. Mum and Dad both started singing:.

Tuesday, January 18, 2005. Exploring Dystopia web site. The "Exploring Dystopia" website was an excellent sorce to further examine dystopia. The web site provides in depth definitions of dytopia, and several examples of a dystopian society through literature and film. I agree with how the web site realtes cyperpunk into dystopia. Many themes of cyperpunk movies contain a theme of the government trying to monopolize and control us. Posted by missy at 5:45 PM. View my complete profile.
