In a little more than two weeks, I will begin working on my thesis, one of the final requirements for the Master’s in English degree I embarked upon four years ago. Into a viable memoir and thesis project. Then I earned my first “A” and I was hooked, energized with a confidence and pride that was different from anything I had felt in a long, long time.
