searching for simplicity...: November 2011
http://flowersinmay.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Ah yes, where were we? I think the last post was one filled with frustration and anxious, waiting-game filled drama (no? Did I just imagine it? We closed on Halloween at about 5pm, proceeded home to change the boys into their ninja costumes, go trick or treating, load some of the big items, put the boys to bed at grandma's house, then unload the truck at the new house. searching for simplicity...: August 2009
http://flowersinmay.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 19, 2009. I'm back.for now. Things here are going strangely well. The little one is sleeping better and better everyday (though now that I've been open about it I'm sure it will change again). He has 7 teeth (7! And is walking around like crazy. He loves to dance and it appears that Madonna might be his favorite :). Work is still crazy busy but that is life. I've been handed more and more responsibilities and can only hope that means good things for the future. Until the little ...I am ...

searching for simplicity...: Accepting less than perfect
http://flowersinmay.blogspot.com/2012/02/accepting-less-than-perfect.html
Monday, February 13, 2012. Accepting less than perfect. I have an addition to Pinterest. It's similar to Thanksgiving day where I end up piling delicious food on my plate without actually having adequate space for it in my stomach. I have so many ideas floating around of what I want to do; crafts, sewing, cooking, baking, reading, gardening, photography, running. I could go on and on. But I'll revel in the fact that we get a healthy, homecooked meal on the table every night and eat as a family. My br...

not just a wife...snow wife: December 2012
http://notjustawife.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Not just a wife.snow wife. Just someone who has random stuff to say on everyday life. Monday, 10 December 2012. Amazing how living in another country shapes your grocery shopping. Or maybe I just changed the way I shop? We hit the world food isle just to see if they added any American crap we don't need but when I see it, I will crave it and must buy it. This happens a lot and then it is usually a let down because 1. it isn't the same and 2. typically it is not made with the same ingredients. Well the gr...

I truly miss seeing the local on the 8's with radar maps. Heck I even liked watching the shows ABOUT weather things that happened. Why don't they have it in the UK? Is it because it would be boring? That's ok it would still be good to have. Agree? Come in UK please get us TWC. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

But something's they MUST keep long and it's mind boggling. Gum must always be called chewing gum. Really? Dryer must be called a tumble dryer. Now what other kind is there nowadays. So funny and that's all I have folks :). Welcome to my spotting of weirdness to me and maybe me only. Tuesday, 10 September 2013. For the...

Copeland/Spode China at Trelissick Mansion | Lovely Things
https://thingshelenlikes.wordpress.com/2011/09/08/copelandspode-china-at-trelissick-mansion
Things i like and covet. Copeland/Spode China at Trelissick Mansion. Today I visited Trelissick Mansion. Near Truro for a viewing of the Spode-Copeland china collection. Trelissick has been around since the mid 1700s, but the Copeland family didn’t own it until 1937. The house is now owned by the National Trust, although the family is still in residence. We were given a talk and tour by William Copeland, great-great-great-grandson of the original William Copeland. Even the gift shop was lovely, with big ...
